Lawyer Malika Bokhari, Parliamentary Secretary for Law and Justice, has dismissed the theory as unfounded and low-minded.

According to him, all these religious leaders create a natural tendency to do women injustices by saying such things. This trend is extremely dangerous.
The Pakistan Human Rights Commission has also spoken out against Tariq Jamil’s statement.
