Three consecutive sharp explosions. The city of Surat in Gujarat woke up at three in the morning. Many people went out into the street in a panic. However, it turned out that the explosion, not a terrorist attack, had taken place at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation plant in the city. The whole plant is on fire. Which is now under control, but not entirely.

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has a huge plant in Surat, Gujarat. Oil and gas are shipped from here to different parts of India. The attacker struck shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday at a plant there. After a while, there were two more explosions. The explosion was so intense that it could be heard from a distance of 10 km. Not only that, after the explosion, the plant caught fire.

ONGC authorities said the explosion was caused by a problem with a gas pipeline from Mumbai. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

According to experts, many people would have died if the explosion had taken place during the day. Because at that time a lot of people worked at the plant. No one was in front because it was night. The fire was not completely extinguished, but it was controlled at noon. Experts believe that the three explosions caused extensive damage to ONGC. However, no account of the financial loss has yet been found.
