Jürgen Klopp’s team lost the Premier League game 1-0 at Anfield on Sunday. Midfielder Mario Lemina scored the only goal just before half-time. This is Liverpool’s sixth consecutive draw at home.

The match between the two teams was drawn 1-1 last December.

Liverpool were in disarray from the start with seven roster changes. Mohamed Salah-Jordan Shachiri-Diego’s shots did not create clear chances in the first half.

Fulham, on the other hand, repeatedly threatened to retaliate. After missing several opportunities, they finally found the network.

In the 45th minute, Liverpool could not save the free kick crossed from the right wing. Just outside area D, Mario snatched the ball from Mohamed Salah and hit the target with a low shot at the far post. Goalkeeper Alison missed the ball even after jumping to the right.

The hosts increased the pressure from the start of the second half, but were unable to break through the opponent’s unwavering defense. On the contrary, the visitors continue to play the counterattack. Even in this half, Liverpool sowed fear several times, but the end of the attack was disappointing.

In the 48th minute, Salah’s shot was blocked by the defender and the goalkeeper blocked the shoe shot.

Substitute Sadio Mann, who was captured by a Nabi Keita cross in the 70th minute, was blocked at the quality loop head post. After a while, Shachiri’s high shot from outside area D towards the far post missed the target.

In the end, the pressure did not increase the club team. They left the field with a ninth-grade parrot flavor. This is the first time since 2012 that Fulham has returned from Anfield with a win.

Liverpool are seventh with 12 points from 27 games and 43 points from seven draws. Manchester City is on top with 85 points from 26 games. Fulham is 18th on the list with five wins from 27 games and 26 points from 11 draws.
