According to a Guardian report, Afsana Begum will appear in the Thames Magistrates Court on December 10.
In a statement, her lawyer said that MP Afsana Begum would fight in court against the “false” accusation.
Afsana’s Labor Party declined to comment on the allegations.
Labor candidate Afsana lost to conservative candidate Shiun Oak by 29,000 votes in the last election.
Although he was born and raised in Tower Hamlets, his original home in Bangladesh was at Jagannathpur in Sunamganj. At one point he worked in the housing department of the Tower Hamlets Council.
