The parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran has asked the French government to offer an unconditional apology to the Muslim world and try to heal its wounds. Parliament said that under the far-reaching plan of the world Zionist clique, one prophet after another was being insulted in Western countries.
Iranian lawmakers made the call in a statement released in Tehran on Saturday. In a statement, they said that the Muslim world has once again seen the manifestation of dirty and ugly thoughts of human-like demons. A statement from Iran’s parliament called the French president a “shameful act” and asked the French government to apologize to the entire Muslim Ummah for the “shameful act.”
Meanwhile, Abdul Ali Askari, head of Iran’s national broadcaster IRIB, has strongly condemned the insult to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the name of freedom of expression in France.
