France has issued a cybersecurity alert for the hacking of several French websites. The warning was issued on Twitter after the Bangladeshi hacker community ‘Cyber71’ claimed to have hacked the French website on Sunday. The warning was issued by Cybermalvalence, an organization created to help victims of cyber attacks and threats in France. French website Twenty Minutes reported.
A member of the ‘Cyber 71’ hacking community told the Bengali Tribune on Sunday that between 40 and 50 major commercial websites have been attacked so far. However, we haven’t published all of them yet. We have published the last 7 websites on our official page. The cyber attack was carried out in protest of the state-sponsored insult to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We have been directed to some major websites. They will also be attacked.

France’s Cybermalvalence has warned that many French websites have been hit by cyberattacks since Sunday night. However, the identities of the hacked websites have not been revealed.
The tweet includes a link to a list of dos and don’ts for hacking websites.
The French agency called the hacking incident a “perverted cyber attack.” According to the country’s National Information Security Agency, any such hacking website raises a claim that old information is removed or something new is added.
According to French media reports, in the event of a cyber attack, the government should immediately shut down the affected computers and leave evidence and hard drives, so that the investigation can work. Complaints have also been filed at the local police station.
Those involved in these cyberattacks face a prison sentence of two to seven years and a fine of 60,000 to 300,000 euros.
