Maulana Mushahid Bayampuri tomb with perfume spread
Its followers claim that the perfume is spreading from the grave of Maulana Mushahid Bayampuri (Rah.), An academic and politician from Kanaighat Darul Uloom Madrasa in Sylhet. It was learned that there is a tomb of Maulana Mushahid Bayampuri (Rah.) At the Darul Uloom Kanaighat Madrasa facility located in Kanaighat Upazila Sadar. He died on February 7, 1971. As such, 50 years have passed since his death. Three more perfumes have come out of his grave during this time. The people of the area also think it is a miracle.
Qari Harunur Rashid Chatuli, a teacher at the madrasa, said: “The students feel the fragrance when they go to the grave after the Maghreb prayers on Wednesday. When they report back to us later, we also get the actual proof.
Mentioning that this is the fourth time perfume has come out of this scholar’s grave, he said: May Allaah grant him paradise. ‘
By the way, Allama Mushahid Ahmad Bayampuri was a renowned academic, politician, social reformer, and writer from then East Pakistan. He has a wide reputation on the subcontinent as a Hadith scholar. Muhtamim and Shaikhul Hadith from Kanaighat Darul Uloom Madrasa in Sylhet. He has taught at various institutions in India and Bangladesh, including Sylhet Government Alia. In 1962, he was elected a member of the National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan. He has several valuable books in Arabic, Bengali, and Urdu. He earned a record number of marks on Darul Uloom Deoband.
