Four more Rohingya have been killed in clashes between two groups for control of the Kutupalong Lombashia camp in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar. More than one person was injured at that time.

Rafiqul Islam said that in recent days there have been clashes and shootings between new and old Rohingya, centered on the dominance of the Kutupalong Lambasia Rohingya camp in Ukhia. Following this, the bodies of 4 Rohingya have been recovered in clashes since Tuesday night.
Three of them were found shot and one was strangled. A large number of law enforcement officers have been deployed to the field. The fighting has stopped. The situation has returned to normal.
Previously, three Rohingya were killed in clashes between the two sides on October 4-5. In this incident, the RAB carried out a raid Tuesday morning and arrested nine Rohingya robbers with weapons and ammunition. The bodies of 8 Rohingya have so far been recovered in the week-long incident.
According to sources from the Rohingya camp, the second in command of the Munna armed group from the Lambasia camp was beaten to death by his opponents in the deep forest not far from Kutupalong.
Gias Uddin’s parents were also killed instantly while trying to save their son. Meanwhile, the agitated Rohingya massacred and killed another member of the Munna group.
Azizul Haque, Syed Noor and Shamshujoha, three Rohingya from Lambasia camp, said the Rohingya from Lambasia camp remained silent after news of the death of Gias Uddin and his parents spread. They also claimed that many took refuge in the surrounding forest for fear of arrest.
It should be noted that when Rohingya displaced from Myanmar took refuge in Kutupalong on August 25, 2016, due to lack of space, some Rohingya were rehabilitated in the deep jungle of Ukhia. The Munna group formed an armed force there.
Through these forces, the Munna group was creating extortion, murder, kidnapping, looting, robbery and anarchy. Her main profession was kidnapping and extortion. Several Rohingya said on condition of anonymity that they would have been massacred if they had not paid.
As of the writing of this report (10:30 pm), the bodies of Gias Uddin and others were recovered from the scene by the camp and Ukhia police and sent to Cox’s Bazar morgue for autopsy.
