According to family and political sources, Alhaj Abdul Majid Mandal, the eldest son of the late Haji Zahurul Islam from Rupnai village under Enayetpur police station in Sirajganj district, founded Mandal Group, a renowned garment industry company. in the country.

He has been the president since its inception. He is also the founder of several educational and religious institutions and a well-known figure in the area.

He won the ship symbol in the 10th parliamentary election on the Awami League nomination. Previously, he was the Deputy Commissioner of Sirajganj.

Meanwhile, the news of Abdul Majid Mandal’s death has cast a shadow of mourning among people from all walks of life, including the political leaders of his constituency.

His body will be buried in the family cemetery after Janaza in Rupnai Eidgah Maidan on Friday. Abdul Momin Mandal, the eldest son of the current Member of Parliament and Managing Director of the Mandal Group, prayed for the forgiveness of the soul of his deceased.
