Former Secretary Sadat Hussein is missing bdnews24.com

He died in a hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday night. He was in the ICU for the last 10 days.

Sadat Hussein was 63 years old. He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.

Her son Shahzad Sadat said she suffered from various problems, including kidney complications.

He told bdnews24.com: “My father was in the ICU at United Hospital. Kidney complications, bacterial meningitis. Doctors announced his death at 10:49 p.m.

His family prepares to bury his body in Dhaka on Thursday in a time of coronavirus crisis.

Shahzad said: “Now, me, two sisters, mother and aunt will make the following decision after arguing with the family.”

Sadat Hussain was Cabinet Secretary in 2002-05. From 2006 to 2011, he was Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Services Commission (PSC).

Sadat Hussain was born on November 24, 1948 in Noakhali. He studied Economics at the University of Dhaka. He received his doctorate in economics from Boston University in 1986.

Sadat joined the Pakistan Civil Service (CSP) in 1970 during the Pakistan period. When the liberation war began, he went to India and performed his duties in the expatriate government.

Before retiring from government service in 2005, he held various positions, including that of President of the National Revenue Board.
