Dhaka: Fly to Dubai to compensate 104 Bangladeshi passengers returning from Dubai Airport
The company will pay another Rs 3,500 for the purchase price of the ticket and other expenses as compensation.
Passengers must pay compensation before October 18.
Sources at Shahjalal International Airport confirmed the information on Monday (October 12).
It is known that 51 passengers from Dhaka and 53 passengers from Chittagong were sent back to Bangladesh from Dubai International Airport on Sunday (October 11) on two Fly Dubai flights on October 9. AVSEC, Airport APBN and Expatriate Welfare Desk attended the Shahjalal International Airport Magistrates Court based on complaints from returning passengers to Dhaka. The investigation revealed Fly Dubai’s negligence in bringing these passengers back. Later, the Shahjalal International Airport Magistrates Court ordered Fly Dubai to pay another 3,500 rupees for the purchase price and other passenger expenses. Fly Dubai agreed to pay the fine.
