The live television debate of Mike Pence and Orange Harris on Wednesday saw the fly become the center of attention for some time, according to a New York Times report.
The flying fly landed on Pence’s head for a while. However, the vice president of the United States, with his neatly combed hair, did not react to the presence of a fly on the right side of his head.
Most of the time, the fly was sitting on the pale white hair of the pens without much movement before flying.
A local television reporter also found out how long the fly was on Pence’s head: two minutes and three seconds.
The fly became a star via social media after appearing in a general debate between the two vice presidential candidates, CNN reported.
Democratic candidate Joe Biden was also seen posting a photo of himself holding a flying stick on Twitter, which garnered more than half a million likes, according to the BBC.
Trump’s ally Senator Paul Rand of Kentucky joked that the fly was evidence of secret state intelligence.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving office.
