A fire broke out in a Tisha Paribahan passenger bus on the Dhaka-Brahmanbaria highway. The incident took place around 10 p.m. Sunday in the Betbaria area of ​​the Brahmanbaria Khatihata Bishbrod crossing. However, no casualties were reported. Upon receiving the news, a unit from the Sarail Fire Service arrived at the scene and managed to control the fire after trying for about half an hour. The passenger bus was coming from Dhaka to Brahmanbaria.

Riaz Mahmud, a station officer in charge of the Sarail Fire Service, said the exact cause of the fire could not be determined. The bus engine is believed to have struck and caught fire.
