Five-GNow the fifth generation phone, that is, the Five-G phone, is being manufactured in the country. Manufacturers have plans to export this Five-G phone made by Samsung to meet the needs of the country. Meanwhile, markets are being sought in different countries. With the approval of Samsung’s parent company, local manufacturers will be proactive in this regard.

According to the Fair Group, the maker of Samsung Mobile in the country, the Five-G phone became the center of interest for smartphone lovers shortly after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note-20 and Note-20 Ultra. Three to three thousand five hundred telephones are almost finished with the advance reservation. Despite the high prices, there was no lack of interest from buyers, Fair Group said. The company launched four thousand units of Five-G phones.

The Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar said: “Five-G mobile phones are now being manufactured in our country. The theme is a joy for us. As we know, Five-G phone makers will export it. We have gone from an importing country to a producing country. We have become exporters of hardware and software. On this occasion we will also consolidate as an exporting country in mobile telephony. Walton has started. Others will start slowly. He added: “I learned that 72 percent of the total demand for mobile phones in the country is now made in the country. Very few phones are we importing right now. You don’t have to do that for a while. We can meet the demand with home phones.

By the way, the country is manufacturing mobile phones from Samsung, Vivo, Walton, Apo, Symphony, iTel, Techno, Fivestar, Winstar, Lava, etc. A local company made a phone called ‘Wee’, but then stopped production. The companies initially made ‘low-end’ smartphones, but are gradually making ‘high-end’ sets. Now there are 9 mobile manufacturing factories in the country. It is known that this number will continue to increase.

Walton is known to have already exported smartphones to the United States. Symphony is looking to expand its business in Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Symphony wants to export smartphones in 2022. Samsung wants to export Indian-made phones to the seven sister states, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

When asked about Samsung Mobile, Mohammad Mesbah Uddin, Marketing Director at Fair Electronics, said: “We are trying to export smartphones to some places. With Samsung’s approval, the matter will be easier. Mesbah Uddin wants to keep the country. which has direct flights ahead of the export list. “I have applied for permission to export to the Seven Sisters region of India and Nepal,” he said. If approved, there will be no need for planes in these places, we can carry phones smart even in car.

Mesbah Uddin said that 99.99 percent of Samsung phones available on the market are made in this country. We import the remaining 0.1 percent. For example, we import phones from the Samsung Fold series. The Fold-2 series phone, made in Korea, will be available soon.

The airline was closed for a long time, authorities said. As a result, sales of official mobile phones have increased as there is less product in the gray market (mobile entry into the country through suitcases or other means). For this reason, Samsung’s home phones priced from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh also sell well.

When asked about this, Zakaria Shahid, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Mobile Phone Importers Association (BMPIA), said: “Each month 16-17 lakhs of mobile phone units are manufactured in the country’s mobile factories.” . He said that almost 100% of smartphones are being manufactured in the country now. Although the number of feature phones that are manufactured is greater than the number of smartphones. He added: “The gray market has gotten much smaller than before. The margins (profits) of gray merchants with feature phones are not that high. As a result, this market has become smaller and sales of official phones have increased a lot.

Apart from these, the big three brands include Huawei, Xiaomi and Nokia, which do not have mobile factories in this country. Meanwhile, Shaomi’s position is known to be at the top. During the Corona period, due to problems in the supply chain, no company was able to bring the product according to market demand. If the global problem normalizes, the supply of mobiles will continue to increase. Concerned people think that the demand for digital devices has increased as a result of 2-3 months of lockdown. As of now, the mobile market (sales) has doubled.
