On August 31, RAB Deputy Inspector Saiful Alam, a witness on the case’s seizure list, testified in court. The following day, September 1, he was questioned by the defendant’s lawyer. At the beginning of August 25, the court filed charges. Later he set August 31, September 1, 2 and 3 for the testimony. The court set August 16 for the hearing. On June 29, RAB Deputy Inspector Arifuzzaman, the investigating officer in the case, filed a charge sheet against him in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrates Court under the Gun Law of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station. . There, twelve people became witnesses.

At the beginning of February 24, Papia and her husband Mofizur Rahman were detained for 10 days each for questioning in the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station weapons case. Later, on March 10, in the same case, the two were detained for 10 days in five days.

On February 23, RAB raided two apartments of the Papia couple in a luxurious building called Domino Relivo de Raushan located at 26 Indira Road in the Farmgate area. During the raid, one foreign pistol, two pistol magazines, 20 cartridges of pistol ammunition, five bottles of foreign liquor and Tk 57.41 lakh in cash, five passports, three checks, foreign currency, 10 Visa and ATM cards were seized. different banks.

The day before, on February 22, the RAB arrested four people, including Papia, as they were leaving the country from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. During this time, they were seized seven passports, two lakh 12,260 rupees in cash, 25,800 rupees in counterfeit currency, 11,991 US dollars and other currencies from different countries.
