Finland tops the list of the happiest countries in the world for four consecutive years. This information has appeared in an annual report called the World Happiness Report, courtesy of the United Nations. Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s position on this list of happy countries has also made some headway.

This report was prepared by conducting a survey of 149 countries around the world between 2016 and 2020. This report has been compiled based on data from Analytical Research Gallup. This is the ninth time the Happiness Report has been published. The media reported on the BBC.

According to the report, Denmark is on the list of happiest countries after Finland. Switzerland, Iceland and the Netherlands follow. The United States is ranked 19th on the list.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s position on the list of happy countries has improved somewhat. Bangladesh ranks 101st on this list. In the previous survey, Bangladesh was ranked 107th out of 153 countries. However, based on the average assessment of how happy a person is in their personal life, Bangladesh is at number 7 on the list.

The survey measured the happiness of people in 149 countries by asking them various questions. As a measure of happiness, the country’s social facilities, social generosity, personal freedom, gross domestic product-GDP, average life expectancy and the level of corruption are considered. However, this time the general situation of the population in the coronavirus epidemic has been given top priority.
