Finally, assistant teachers from government primary schools got the good news. The government has announced that it will add higher education degrees to its service book from now on in response to long-standing demands.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
According to the circular, all certificates presented by teachers of public elementary schools at the time of joining the service are included in the service book and those who acquire educational qualifications / training with the permission of the employing authority are also included in the service book. But many teachers went to work while studying and then completed their studies while working. Also many teachers have completed evening / part-time courses, but due to ignorance the approval of the authorities has not been accepted. If a teacher has acquired an educational qualification / experience without the approval of the authority, then that qualification / experience should be included in the service book. In this context, it was requested to take the necessary measures to include government primary school teachers in the service book by verifying their educational qualifications.
From now on, approval from the authorities must be obtained in case of acquiring educational qualifications, the notice says.
