One of the organizers of the liberation war, politician and prominent journalist was buried next to the grave of his parents. Ferdous Ahmed Qureshi. Earlier, the leading journalists paid tribute to his body after Janaza at the facilities of the National Press Club around 9 am on Tuesday. Ferdous Ahmed Qureshi, chairman of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP), died in Kurmitola General Hospital around 3pm on Monday (August 31). He was 80 years old at the time of his death. Qureshi was admitted to the Evercare Hospital in the capital on October 21, 2015 after suffering a stroke. He was on life support in the hospital for about half a month. He is survived by his wife Nilufar Chowdhury, a son, two daughters, and numerous relatives, fans and admirers.
