It is worth mentioning that the Union Minister of Agriculture, Narendra Singh Tomar, met with the farmers’ leaders on December 1. When he proposed to form a separate committee with peasant leaders, the peasant leadership refused to accept him. That meeting was unsuccessful. The Union Agriculture Minister visited Amit Shah’s residence on Wednesday to review the situation. Also present was the Minister of Railways, Piyush Goel. The situation in Delhi centered on the peasant movement was discussed in detail. Later, Punjab’s chief minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, sat down to meet Amit Shah. He appealed to Amit Shah to solve the problem through talks with farmers.

The Chief Minister has given the message to support them.
