Actor ATM Shamsuzzaman (60), who won the hearts of Bengali film audiences with his great performance, left empty-handed. He has immortalized many characters in more than four hundred films since the 1960s. Besides being an actor, he has also earned a reputation as a director, screenwriter, dialogue and storyteller. All in all, it has made its name into an organization in its six-decade career.
His younger brother, Saleh Zaman, said he took his last breath at his home in Sutrapur, the capital, on Saturday morning. In the morning, when relatives call for breakfast, they realize that he will never wake up. He had been suffering from various complications of old age for a long time.

ATM Shamsuzzaman was born on September 10, 1941 in Daulatpur, Noakhali, Nanabari. He grew up on Debendranath Das Lane in old Dhaka. When he was a child, he would go down the hall with his mother and fall in love with the world while watching movies. At first he was the promoter of the work. He received 20 rupees. Dad kicked her out of the house after she started acting. In 1971, Shamsuzzaman had the opportunity to work as an assistant director on Udayan Chowdhury’s film Bisakanya. Later, Narayan Ghosh wrote the script for the film about Mita’s water. The hero Farooq made his debut in that movie. ATM Shamsuzzaman made his acting debut on screen in 1985. ATM Shamsuzzaman has won the National Film Award five times, in addition to the Lifetime Achievement Award for his performance. In 1978, Shamsuzzaman won the National Film Award for Best Actor for Kazi Hayat’s ‘Daayi Ke’.
