A Bogra shopkeeper has tried to commit suicide with his pregnant wife and children because he could not bear the pressure of the loan payment that the NGO took from him. Bulbuli Begum, 22, a pregnant housewife, died after being admitted to the hospital. He died at Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital on Wednesday afternoon. Bulbuli Begum is the wife of Mohidul Islam, a grocer from the village of Naodapara in the suburb of Bogra.

It is known that when Mahidul Islam became unemployed due to the Crown epidemic, he took a loan from various NGOs on behalf of his wife and opened a grocery store in their village. But with the sale of the store, it became difficult to have a family with a five-year-old boy and a pregnant wife. On the one hand, the family did not move, on the other hand, the family lost their way due to pressure from various NGO deliveries. At one point on Tuesday night (November 10), Mahidul gave his wife and son a poison gas tablet (insecticide tablet) and became ill after consuming it himself. Neighbors learned of the incident, rescued them and admitted them to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. Bulbuli, pregnant, died Wednesday afternoon while receiving treatment there.

Police Outpost (SI) Deputy Inspector Abdul Aziz Mandal of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (Chilimpur) said that Bulbuli’s husband and children were being treated at the hospital.
