A mobile RAB court has fined ACI Rs 1 million for making hand sanitizer from the toxic chemical methanol. Market hand sanitizers have been ordered to be removed and destroyed within 48 hours.

RAB Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam conducted the raid on the ACI warehouse in Mirpur, the capital, on Sunday afternoon. The operation was carried out from 16 to 20 hours.

Sarwar Alam told reporters that they recently raided ACI’s Gazipur factory and found fake hand sanitizers. At that time the factory there was sealed. The fine was 16 lakh. At that time they were ordered to refrain from such deception. But they did not follow his instructions.

The secret information they can find is that there are fake hand sanitizers on the market. So the hand sanitizers at the Mirpur depot were tested on Sunday. The test caught the fake again. So the company has been fined one million rupees. The hand sanitizers supplied to the market were also ordered to be removed and destroyed within 48 hours.
