Popular social media Facebook has removed a post by US President Donald Trump about the coronavirus. In that post, Trump claimed that Covid-19 was less deadly than the flu. The British media BBC reported this news.
Trump returned to the White House on Tuesday after being hospitalized for three days with heart disease. Andy Stone, Facebook’s Policy Communications Manager, said: “We have removed misinformation about the horrors of Covid-19 and now this post has been removed.
The actual death toll in Corona was not known. However, the idea is that this rate is higher than the information available. According to Johns Hopkins University, the death rate in the corona could be 10 times or more than the flu.
Previously, Facebook had removed a post from Trump. The publication stated that children are very resistant to Kavid-19.
