Responding to a question from journalists, CID DIG Mainul Hasan said: “Initially it was thought that the explosion was caused by a leak in the gas pipeline. The mosque had two power lines. One of them is valid and the other is invalid. Also This problem will be studied. It will also investigate if there are any defects in the mosque where it was built. The CID will prepare a final report after observing the reports of the investigation committees of the five agencies formed in the incident. He said: “The CID police have been conducting a shadow investigation since the incident. It has collected many signals. One day after the explosion, the Fatullah police filed a case. The case was turned over to CID police last Thursday for further investigation. Five separate investigative committees comprising the district administration, the fire service, Titas, DPDC and Narayanganj City Corporation are continuing their investigation into the incident.
