Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that in addition to wearing masks, everyone should know the rules of hygiene. I mean, everyone has to be hygiene conscious after wearing a mask. Protecting yourself protects others. Everyone has to comply.
He made the call while participating in a discussion meeting organized by the Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League and Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Day of Mourning on Sunday.
The Prime Minister said: “This time we are observing Ashura at a critical moment.” The coronavirus has paralyzed the entire world. Our government is taking the necessary steps to address this situation. We keep cooperating with people. God tests the patience of people in adversity. At this time, everyone should be patient, tolerant, and understanding to help each other.
He said work may be temporarily interrupted due to Corona. Because of this, the Bangladeshi economy is stagnant. In this we have continued our work. The reserves have risen to £ 40 billion. We are trying to raise awareness about health. Everyone must follow the hygiene rules. Otherwise, it is a virus that no one can see. As a result, many people are affected.
“Our goal is to move forward with the ideals of the father of the nation,” he added. We work with the goal that no one is left homeless or landless in this country in the Golden Jubilee of the Mujib Year and Independence. The Corona virus started in this, not just in Bangladesh but all over the world.
He further said that before the dawn of August 15, 1975, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who had shown the light of liberation to the Bengali nation, was killed along with his family by some wrong members of the army. The killers did not spare the women and children that day, which is known as a stigmatized chapter in history.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina spoke under the chairmanship of Dhaka Metropolitan North President Sheikh Bazlur Rahman.
Central leaders present at the meeting included Presidium member Matia Chowdhury, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Deputy General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Organizational Secretary Mirza Azam, Office Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua and many others. The meeting was chaired by Humayun Kabir, secretary general of the Dhaka Metropolitan Awami League of South Dhaka, and Abu Ahmed Mannafi, president of the south, led the prayers.
