Own report: Heated Ethiopia. Many ordinary people in that country are in crisis. The prime minister of the country is concerned.

Ethiopia’s central government is fighting a regional force in northern Tigre. As a result, many ordinary people are fleeing the area for their lives.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said on Tuesday that the recent political situation in Ethiopia, known as the “Horn of Africa”, was turning into a humanitarian crisis. According to UNHCR, an average of 4,000 women, men and children have been crossing the border from Tigris to seek refuge in Sudan every day since November 10. A UNHCR spokesperson told a press conference in Geneva that more than 26,000 people had already arrived in Sudan through Ethiopia’s three border areas.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed announced on November 4 that he would take military action in the region. Abi Ahmed sent national defense forces there when there were reports of attacks by local forces against government forces in the Tigre region. The prime minister said the government’s goal was to restore order to the state.

According to a report by an international news agency, the political situation in this African country has changed dramatically since Abi Ahmed came to power as Prime Minister in 2016. Abi also received the Nobel Peace Prize a year after coming to power for return peace to power by controlling the heated political situation. However, Abi Ahmed was praised for establishing good relations with his neighbors, but was accused of not taking steps to restore peace in the independence-loving Taigre region of his country. This has sparked a dispute between the Tigre Popular Liberation Front Party and the country’s central government.
