In India, the southern actress Ragini Dwivedi has been accused of being involved in drug trafficking. This time, the actress was also accused of distorting her own drug test sample.
Although the Central Crime Division (CCB) of Bangalore Police did not say anything official about it, Indian media quoted police sources as saying that the Kannada Ragini actress mixed water in her urine sample.
Ragini is known to have been tested for doping while in CCB custody. However, during the first drug test at the city’s KG Hospital, the actress mixed water in her urine sample so that she could manipulate the drug test results.
News sources further claim that the drug test sample was easily distorted by doctors. After that, Ragini was examined a second time. The researchers also noted that Ragini was unable to distort the sample. According to the police source, the doctors immediately captured the distorted urine sample. It was mixed with water. Ragini was then asked to give another urine sample.
Earlier this month, the CCB arrested the Kannada Ragini actress on charges of being involved in drug trafficking. Another defendant in the case, Ravi Shankar, was questioned and Ragini’s name came up. Robi’s close friend, Ragini, did not appear before the CCB despite being summoned on September 3. Rather, he called himself innocent and said that he would cooperate with the police on social media.
The next day, the police raided Ragini’s home. Investigators seized several important items from there. On the same day, the CCB arrested Ragini and placed her in their custody. Aside from Ragini, investigators have arrested a total of 13 people in the case, including another Kannada actor named Sanjana Galrani.
The researchers said that in addition to the drug test, they also collected hair cell samples from Ragini and Sanjana. It will be sent to the Hyderabad laboratory. It is known that if drugs have been used in the last four or five months, the evidence can be found through that test.
