At the rally, ABM Azad said: “Bangabandhu and Bangladesh are not only complementary, they are just two names of the same entity.” When the blow comes on that Bangabandhu, it must be understood that it is a blow for Bangladesh. A blow to the existence of Bangladesh. A blow to the constitution of Bangladesh. There is no possibility of seeing the blow on the Bangabandhu sculpture as a blow. This is a deep conspiracy pattern.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ilyas Hossain chaired the rally, CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, Chittagong Range DIG Anwar Hossain, Division Health Director Dr. Hasan Shahriar Kabir, Metropolitan Sessions Judge Ashfaqur Rahman, spoke District Sessions Judge Ismail Hossain, Chittagong City Corporation CEO Mozammel Hoque, and other government officials.

He further said: ‘The defeated power of 71 has not yet disappeared. They beat up Bangabandhu’s family in ’75 after being defeated in ’71. And now that the country is advancing under the skillful leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter, they are trying to make something happen again.
