The Prime Minister said: “Our flag was won in exchange for the blood of millions of martyrs. This flag is a symbol of freedom, sovereignty, honor and dignity of a nation. It is everyone’s responsibility to protect the quality of this flag. Every soldier and I think all the people, everyone’s responsibility is to protect the dignity of this flag. Because this is our symbol, our freedom, our sovereignty ”.
Noting the important contribution of women members of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Hasina also congratulated them.
He said, “One thing to keep in mind all the time. Our Constitution, the Constitution of the Father of the Nation gave us the gift in just nine months after independence. That constitution gives guidelines for all aspects of the management of a state. Therefore, we will move the country forward by upholding the constitution.
The Prime Minister thanked members of the Army, Navy and Air Force for supporting the people in natural calamities, as well as coming forward with the cooperation of the people to combat the coronavirus epidemic.

“I believe that one of our duties is to improve the country. From our freedom, the symbol of sovereignty is our army or armed forces. Its general development is also our responsibility.
