Said the Inspector General of Police (IGP). Benazir Ahmed said that no one can touch the independence, the constitution, the state and the people of my country. We will take care of everything together with 160 million people and the state. Statesmen are strong. It will not show the courage to oppose the state. Opposing the state means opposing 160 million people. The attack on the Bangabandhu sculpture is an attack on the constitution, the state and the people of this country. The state will deal with this attack with strict hands in accordance with the law and regulations.

The IGP summoned government officials in a protest rally at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Saturday. The protest rally was organized to protest the vandalism of the Bangabandhu sculpture.

The IGP said the country is moving forward under the leadership of the Prime Minister. We have repeatedly seen the tendency to drag the country backwards. 160 million people come together to move the country forward. In 1971, under the leadership of Bangabandhu, the people of this country came together. The people of the country are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The speakers strongly condemned and protested the egregious incident such as the vandalism of the Bangabandhu sculpture. They reiterated their commitment to confront any conspiracy against Bangabandhu and to stand united against the anti-independent and non-communal forces. Republic officials were again sworn in to advance Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina protecting the honor and dignity of Bangabandhu.
