His family’s donation to social service amounted to Rs. Mukesh Ambani, president and managing director of Reliance Industries, which ranks third, and his family donated 458 million rupees.
Kumar Mangalam Birla, who is in fourth position on this list, has donated Rs 26 crore this year. In fifth place is Anil Agarwal, founder and president of Vedanta. Anil and his family have donated 215 million rupees. Ajay Piramal, chairman of the 6th ranked Piramal Group, and his family donated 198 rupees. Rahul Bajaj, president of the Bajaj Group ranked tenth, and his family donated Rs 84 crore.
