Masudul Hasan told BBC Bangla that on the one hand, as a teacher in the marketing department, a member of the watchdog and head of the physical education department, he had to be honored with flowers several times on Victory Day. He said he had to take pictures with many people while giving flowers.

“Suddenly I noticed behind me that some teachers were taking pictures with something like a flag,” he said. So I went and stood with them from behind. It never occurred to me that when someone took a picture with a flag, the size joke would not be right. He also said that he did not see the flag head-on. He said he felt bad seeing the photo at night. However, he said it was not yet known who brought the flag.

The film featured Tabiur Rahman Pradhan, a professor in the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism. He said that many teachers took pictures. However, the flag that appeared in the image that went viral was not a flag, but a banner. They all stared at the red-green flag, like a banner. At the time of taking the photo, it was not seen if it was okay or not. He said it was not an official flag. And we had no idea where it was coming from. They are worried and sorry for it.

He also said that they have already expressed their regret over the incident. Tabiur Rahman Pradhan said: ‘It is undesirable. People are misunderstanding it because it is viral. ” Begum Rokeya attempted to contact the university’s vice chancellor but received no comment.
