A Fox News report Tuesday night US local time claimed that Joe Biden was receiving electoral votes from Arizona.
Exactly three hours later, the Associated Press (AP) reported the same information in a report. According to the AP and Fox News, ABC News reported that Arizona went into Biden’s pocket.
But the votes are still being counted in Arizona. The results have yet to be announced. So how did the Arizona electoral vote go for Biden?
According to various media reports, Joe Biden received 264 electoral votes. Excluding Arizona’s 11 electoral votes, Biden has received 253 electoral votes so far.
In Arizona, 92.71 percent of the votes have so far been counted. Trump received 46.54 percent of the vote, followed by Joe Biden with 50.06 percent. Biden is ahead but has yet to win.
With the exception of Arizona, Joe Biden needs 18 more electoral votes to win. If Biden wins in Pennsylvania, Arizona will have no problem with Biden moving to Trump.
