Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) said that power supply to these areas would be cut from 8 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
On the same day, DESCO began repair work on the new substation in Agargaon, the Mirpur DOHS sub-center, the Gulshan-1 sub-center and the Dakshin Khan sub-center.
As a result, several avenues of Mirpur DOHS, 23, 24, 26, 21, 30, 26 of Gulshan-1, some roads were without electricity.
Also, there is no electricity in West Agargaon, water cistern crossing, district election office, LGED zonal office, Barek Mollah crossing, Kashem store, North Pirerbagh, Mike’s store, Shewrapara Ananda Bazar and adjacent areas.
DESCO, a power supply company in the northern part of Dhaka, will repair its substations throughout the month. As a result, customers will have to be without power for eight hours a day in November in the areas covered by each sub-center.
Manjurul Haque, DESCO chief engineer, told bdnews24.com: He has been informed where and when it will be closed.
