The father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Professor Morshed Hasan Khan of the Marketing Department of Dhaka University have been fired for insulting the Constitution and distorting the history of the Liberation War.

Professor Morshed is not charged with any of the above allegations. Under the Dhaka University Order of 1973, university professors or officials have the right to participate in politics. The decision to fire him is also a clear violation of current university employment rules.
