According to the RAB, based on the allegations of various victims, the RAB, in collaboration with intelligence agencies and the Department of Health, raided the clinic at the Aminbagh Cooperative Market in Shantinagar and arrested the fake doctor. Nur Safa Jahangir, who passed HSC, has been practicing dentistry there for 10 long years with a medical degree.
There are reports that Nur Safa went to treat the bad teeth of many patients and took out good teeth. Furthermore, it has caused suffering to patients with inadequate treatment. The RAB arrested him on the basis of all these charges.
RAB-3 Mobile Court Executive Magistrate Palash Kumar Basu said that fake doctor Nur Safa Jahangir did not have any BDS degree approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. He has run the Oral View Dental Clinic for the past 10 years stealing the registration number of another title and introducing himself as a specialist dentist.
