Tejgaon Division (DC) Deputy Police Commissioner Mohammad Harun-ur-Rashid has called Mind Aid Hospital in Adabar in the capital a “jail”. He said: ‘I have visited the hospital in the murder case of Senior ASP Shipon. In no way did it feel like a hospital. They have also made rooms in the hospital gallery in such a way that there is no ventilation. Even if healthy people go there, they should get sick. ”

He spoke to reporters after visiting Mind Aid Hospital in Adabar, the capital, on Tuesday (November 10) afternoon.

DC Harun said: ‘There is no doctor in that hospital, there was no permission from the concerned authorities. The hospital has been built in the form of a prison in a house. They used to distribute patients from different hospitals through corridors.

As for the detainees, he said: “A meritorious senior ASP member has been brutally tortured to death. 10 people have been arrested in this incident. Each of them has been in preventive detention for seven days. Dr. involved in the incident. A case has also been filed on behalf of Niaz Uddin. He is being treated at the Neuroscience Hospital in the capital.

Expressing his condolences to the family of the murdered policeman, he said: “We will not be able to bring him back. But our moral responsibility is to guarantee justice for his murder. Otherwise, we will be responsible to our conscience.

Noting the need to crack down on illegal hospital clinics in the capital Dhaka, he said: “Many illegal clinics have sprung up in Mohammadpur, Adabar and Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. They have no valid paper. They only use hospitals and ambulances. governments to evacuate patients. They are cheating with the patient in the name of treatment. Many do not complain about it. A campaign will soon be launched in this regard. The corridors will be subject to the law.

Senior ASP Shipon was taken to Mind Aid Hospital in Adabar around 11:30 am on Monday (November 9) for advanced treatment. Then there was no psychiatrist. The defendant forcibly transferred the victim to an observation room on the second floor of the hospital under the pretext of giving him medical treatment. CCTV camera footage shows the accused torturing and killing him in that room.

His father Fayez Uddin filed a case at the Adabar police station. Police arrested 10 defendants in the case.

Anisul Karim Shipon was appointed a police officer in the 31st BCS. Most recently, he worked in the Barisal Metropolitan Police. His home is in Kapasia, Gazipur. He is the father of a son. The police officer was a student from group 33 of the Department of Biochemistry and Biopsychology at Jahangirnagar University.
