Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s performance in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket is not going very well. His Chennai Super Kings team is also not seeing positive results. Chennai has won only two of the seven games it has played so far. As a result, they are at the bottom of the point table.
The relatives of Dhoni or any other player on his team have nothing to do with those performances in Dhoni or Chennai. But angry supporters seem to care. In India, a country with a very large population, it is considered normal for players to be criticized or mistreated.
But this time the level of everything has gone beyond the behavior of a teenager. A 16-year-old boy has threatened to rape Dhoni’s 5-year-old daughter, Jiva Dhoni, due to poor results in Chennai. However, the teenager was not spared such heinous acts. He was captured by the police in just three days.
Chennai lost an easy match against Kolkata Knight Riders last Wednesday. After that pace, in a photo uploaded to social media by Chennai’s captain’s wife Dhoni, Mr. A user named Vijay commented: “Should I rape your daughter Jivaka?”
Seeing that comment, netizens protested. After that, the police administration remained immobile. Finally, three days later, on Sunday (October 11), Gujarati police arrested the 18-year-old who threatened to rape Khiva. He will soon be handed over to the Ranchi police.
The teenager who threatened to rape Dhoni’s daughter is a student from class XII. He was arrested in Mundra in Gujarat on Sunday. Cooch West Police SP Sourav Singh said the teenager was originally detained for questioning. However, during initial questioning, the teenager admitted to making comments about the rape threat on Instagram.
Last week, Ranchi police filed a case under the Cyber Law for a comment on the profile of witness Dhoni. They later met Mr. Vijay and collected the information from the user named Vijay and handed it over to the Gujarat police and arrested the user for making indecent comments on the witness’s Instagram.
Gujarat police found the truth in initial questioning after his arrest on Sunday, the teenager admitted the threat of rape. Now that an FIR has been filed in Ranchi, the teenager will be turned over to Ranchi police. The next step in the case will be taken in accordance with the Indian juvenile law.
