Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Jannatul Ferdousi has rejected Ruper’s appeal request. As a result, Rupa has to appear at the office of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), the lawyers said.

Attorney Shafiq Ahmed, Attorney ZI Khan Panna, Salahuddin Dolan and Suraiya Begum represented DAG Rupar. Lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan was in favor of the ACC. Assistant Attorney General Asaduzzaman Monir represented the state.
The ACC issued a notice to DAG Jannatul Ferdousi Rupa on October 28 for questioning. In the notice, you were asked to report to ACC central office along with records / documents at 10am on November 4. The notice sought his statement against DAG Rupar for allegedly accepting bribes through various irregularities, corruption, abuse of power and forgery, collusion with various defendants including GK Shamim, embezzlement of huge sums of money, and acquiring known assets that do not generate income. . DAG Rupa filed an appeal petition with the Superior Court on November 1 challenging the notification. In the writ petition, the Superior Court gave Rupa a month’s time in an order on November 3. This time has ended today.
