Crown of eight others, including doctors and police, were identified in Naogaon

The coronavirus has been identified in the bodies of eight new people in Naogaon. Among the seven new victims are a doctor and a police officer. Naogaon’s civil surgeon Akand said Monday morning. Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the information.

The total number of patients infected with coronavirus in Naogaon District was 70. Among them, 16 health workers, including four doctors and three policemen.

According to the Office of the Civil Surgeon, the results of 175 samples sent from Naogaon arrived in an email sent by the Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) in Dhaka around 9 p.m. Sunday. Positive crown of eight people came in the report. Among them are six men and two women. Of the eight, four are from Patnitala upazila, two from Badalgachhi, one from Mandar and one from Dhamairhat upazila. One of the new victims is a doctor. He is the medical officer of Badalgachhi upazila. In addition, a coronavirus has been detected in the body of an SI police. He is working at the district’s Patnitala police station.

Civil surgeon Akand said. Akhtaruzzaman said the review revealed that seven out of eight newly infected people in the district had contracted coronavirus as a result of being in contact with previously infected patients. Only one has recently returned from Dhaka. He is a resident of Patnitala upazila. He added that work is underway to verify the information of those who came into contact with the affected people. Individuals’ family members have already been instructed to remain in home quarantine.

The first crown patient was identified in the Naogaon District on April 23 in the body of a nurse. Then, in the last 18 days, 69 more corona patients were identified.
