Netrokona with an officer from Upazila Nirbahi (UNO) and an officer in charge (OV-11). The coronavirus was detected in the laboratory of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital on Monday night.
Among those identified as Corona there are six from Kendua, three from Barhatta and one from Atpa and Madan upazilas. Among them is UNO and OC. They are working on the same upazila.
When asked, Deputy Commissioner Moinul Islam said samples from the UN and OC were collected last Saturday. The report tested positive when the samples were analyzed in the laboratory of Mymensingh Medical College’s microbiology department tonight. The matter has been reported to senior officials. Now they will follow the doctor’s advice.
According to the Office of the Civil Surgeon, the crown of 65 people was identified in the district. 26 of them are women. On April 10, the first two people in the district were caught with Covid-19. Currently, there are 6 victims in Khaliajuri, 6 in Madan, 4 in Kalmakanda, 15 in Mohanganj, 13 in Barhatta, 14 in Atpara, 11 in Kendua, 6 in Purbadhala, 3 in Durgapur and 5 in Sadar upazila. 39 of them are garment workers.
Civil surgeon Tajul Islam Khan said 26 people have returned to Netrokona so far. The rest are receiving treatment.
