Cricket Player of the Year Babar Azam, Rizwan in Trials

Pakistan captain Babar Azam is the world’s second best batsman in T20 cricket.

It is also consistent in Testing and ODI. That is why the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has relied on it in all three formats.

In limited overs cricket, he has been quite successful with the bat in the last year. And Pakistan has recognized him for this success.

He received the Pakistan Cricket Player of the Year award.

The PCB announced the award on Friday.

The PCB has selected Babar Azam as the best player of the year in white ball cricket. Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been named the best test cricketer of the year.

However, Babar did not have a bad time on the test. He has been the captain of Pakistan for three consecutive editions and has been named the most valuable cricketer of the year.

In 2020, Babar played four tests, three ODI and eight T20. He has scored 336 runs at a 6.60 average in two fifties. Their ODI runs are 221, average 110.50, century BC. 55 runs to an average of 55.20 in four fifties.

Apart from these two, Fawad Alam has also entered the list of the year. He played a 102-run heroic inning in the Test against New Zealand at the end of the year. His century after 11 years has won the award for the best personal performance of Pakistan.

Nasim Shah has become an emerging international cricketer. The pacemaker, which made its debut in November 2019, has taken 20 wickets in eight tests.

Additionally, Alia Riaz has become the best cricketer in Pakistan in 2020. Kamran Ghulam has been named the best player of the year in the country’s national cricket.
