According to the ISPR statement, General Aziz left Bangladesh on January 29 at the invitation of the Chief of Staff of the US Army. Visit various military installations and training centers in the United States.
During his stay in the United States, General Aziz also exchanged views with military advisers and undersecretary generals of UN peacekeeping missions. The visit is expected to play an important role in increasing the number of Bangladeshi members in peacekeeping missions, conducting various peacekeeping missions smoothly and increasing Bangladeshi representation at the level of policy formulation.
After the visit, the Chief of the Army, General Aziz Ahmed, will return to the country on February 12.
