Later, based on information provided by her mother (Sonali), the girl was rescued by raiding Abdus Salam’s home in the Mirdevahata village of Mirzapur in the same district. Sonali Akhter, 23, and her husband Hridoy Mahmud, 31, were arrested at the time.

Following the arrest, the couple told police that they had rented a house a month and a half ago with the intention of robbing the boy. And all the identities and addresses you give when renting a house are false. Hridoy Mahmud is the son of Badal Miah from Shashadharapati village in Mirzapur, Tangail. His wife Sonali Akter’s home is in the Sakhipur village of Hatia Rajabari in the same district.

After rescuing the boy, Gazipur Police Superintendent Shamsunnahar told a news conference in his office yesterday afternoon that the Hridoy and Sonali couple needed extensive questioning. As a result, they will be sent to court.

Meanwhile, mother Laiju Begum broke down in tears after holding baby Riva Moni on her lap. He said: ‘I got my heart back. God has returned my Riva Monir. I couldn’t live without him. ‘

On Tuesday afternoon, Laiju went to bathe the baby on the lap of Sonali, the tenant in the next room. Twenty minutes later he saw that Sonali was not there with the baby. He filed a case at the Sreepur Police Station that same night.
