Kolkata also has the highest number of deaths by district. Nine people have died in the last 24 hours in the metropolis. Additionally, six people died in North 24 Parganas, six in Howrah, three in South 24 Parganas, two in West Burdwan and Jhargram, and one in Hughli, Nadia and Murshidabad.
