Coronavirus: 835 patients are identified in one day

The Health Department said in a statement to the media on Friday afternoon that a total of 6,441 people had died from coronavirus in the country, including six who died in the last day.

And in the last 24 hours, the number of people infected with coronavirus in the country has risen to 5 lakh 49,184 due to the infection of 835 more people.

According to the Health Department, 6 more patients undergoing treatment at home and in hospital have recovered in the last day. So far, the total number of healthy patients has risen to 5 lakh 1,144 people.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Bangladesh on March 7 last year; It crossed 5 lakh on January 14. Of these, 4,019 patients with Kovid-19 were identified on July 2 of last year, which is the highest in a single day.

On March 17 of last year, 10 days after the identification of the first patient, the Department of Health confirmed the first death report in the country. On January 23 of this year it exceeded eight thousand. Of these, 84 deaths were reported on June 30 last year, the highest in a single day.

The number of patients with Kovid-19 identified in the world has already exceeded 11 crore 57 lakh, the number of deaths has exceeded 25 lakh 79 thousand.

Bangladesh is ranked 33rd in the world in terms of the Johns Hopkins University list and 39th in terms of death toll.

According to the Department of Health, in the last 24 hours, 13,610 samples have been analyzed in 118 RT-PCR laboratories, 29 gene expert laboratories and 72 rapid antigen laboratories throughout the country, for a total of 219 laboratories. So far 41 lakh 19 thousand 31 samples have been tested.

Considering the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate is 4.63 percent, so far the total detection rate is 13.33 percent. Recognized, the recovery rate is 91.25 percent and the mortality rate is 1.54 percent.

So far, 31 lakh 8,619 samples have been tested under government management. And 9 lakh 51,412 have been under private management.

Among those who have died in the last day, 4 are men and 2 are women. They all died in the hospital.

4 of them were over 60 years old and 1 of them was between 51 and 60 and between 21 and 30 years old.

Among the dead were 3 residents of the Dhaka division, 2 residents of the Chittagong division and 1 resident of the Khulna division.

Of the 6,441 people who have died in the country so far, 6,361 are men and 2,060 are women.

4,601 of them were over 60 years old. There are also 2,069 people between the ages of 51 and 60, 955 between the ages of 41 and 50, 422 between the ages of 31 and 40, 183 between the ages of 21 and 30, 74 between the ages of 11 and 20, and 38 I was less than 10 years old.
