Coronavirus: 39 deaths in one day, maximum in three and a half months

Previously, more deaths were reported on December 15 of last year. The government reported 40 deaths that day.

According to the Department of Health, a coronavirus infection has been detected in 3,064 more people in the country in the last 24 hours until Saturday morning.

A total of 6,069 people have died from coronavirus in the country, including 39 who died in the last day.

And with 3,084 new patients, the number of patients identified in the country so far stood at 5 lakh 91,606 people.

According to the Health Department, 1,981 more patients have been cured in the last day. So far, the total number of healthy patients has risen to 5 lakh 33,922 people.

A year after the first coronavirus case was detected in Bangladesh on March 8 last year, the number of patients identified on March 6 last year exceeded five and a half million. Of these, 4,019 patients with Kovid-19 were identified on July 2 of last year, which is the highest in a single day.

On March 17 of last year, 10 days after the identification of the first patient, the Department of Health confirmed the first death report in the country. On March 11 of this year it exceeded eight thousand five hundred. Of these, 84 deaths were reported on June 30 last year, the highest in a single day.

The number of identified Kovid-19 patients in the world has already exceeded 12 crore 81 lakh, the number of deaths has exceeded 27 lakh 8 thousand.

Bangladesh ranks 34th in the world in terms of the Johns Hopkins University list and 40th in terms of death toll.

According to the Department of Health, 24,074 samples have been analyzed in 224 laboratories across the country in the last 24 hours. So far 45 lakh 8,694 samples have been tested.

Considering the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate is 14.90 percent, so far the total detection rate is 12.96 percent. Recognized, the recovery rate is 90.22 percent and the mortality rate is 1.50 percent.

So far, 34 lakh 6 thousand 7 samples have been tested under government management. And 10 lakh 96,618 have been under private management.

Of those who have died in the last day, 24 are men and 15 are women. They all died in the hospital.

Of these, 25 were over 60 years old, 10 were between 51 and 60 years old, 1 between 41 and 50 years old and 3 between 31 and 40 years old.

Among the dead, 26 were from the Dhaka division, 5 from the Chittagong division, 2 from each of the Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, and 1 from each of the Sylhet and Rangpur divisions.

Of the 6,069 people who have died so far in the country, 6,795 are men and 2,184 are women.

4,957 of them were over 60 years old. In addition, 2,208 people between 51 and 60 years old, 994 between 41 and 50 years old, 434 between 31 and 40 years old, 164 between 21 and 30 years old, 8 between 11 and 20 years old and 38 were less than 10 years old.

The dead included 5,026 from the Dhaka Division, 1,720 from the Chittagong Division, 492 from the Rajshahi Division, 573 from the Khulna Division, 26 from the Barisal Division, 316 from the Sylhet Division, 362 from the Division from Rangpur and 200 from the Mymensingh division.
