The new coronavirus has caused a catastrophe worldwide. It is destroying the pride of human civilization and science. There is no medicine, there is no antidote. Just waiting for death. Scientists from different countries of the world have started to manufacture medicines or vaccines. I still haven’t seen the face of success.
But Madagascar, a poor African country, claims to have developed miraculous herbal remedies for the crown. This medication is made from a type of herbal plant called “Artemisia”. The country’s government claims that taking this herbal medication will bring a tax relief within 24 hours.
However, many in the world do not trust the success of the poorest country in Africa. The World Health Organization (WHO) says there is still no scientific study to show that Artemisia works. So the Madagascar government has taken the initiative to test by a team of international researchers to see if the herb really works to cure the coronavirus.
Scientists at the Max Planck Colloid Institute in Germany and the German interface in Potsdam and a team of researchers from Denmark are working with the American company Artemilife to test whether artemisia works in coronal healing.
Peter Sieberger, head of research, told Deutsche Welle: “This is the first study to explore the efficacy of plant substances related to Kavid-19.”
The cell study will test extracts of the Artemisia anua plant. This is known as Sweet Wormwood. Isolated plant derivatives such as artemisinin will also be examined.
The artemisia compound has long been used as a treatment for malaria. However, research is underway to determine how effective it really is in treating Cavid-19. If Madagascar’s claim is true, it will come as a great surprise in Kavid-19’s treatment.
Madagascar recently announced the launch of an herbal tonic called Covid-Organics to cure coronavirus. Later, despite warnings from the World Health Organization (WHO), several African countries decided to import the drug.
Madagascar has already supplied the drug to Tanzania. Tanzanian government spokesman Hassan Abas said in a tweet that “Tanzania has received medications from the crown virus of Madagascar.”
The drug was officially unveiled by Madagascar President Andrew Rezolina at a press conference last month. He drank the brown liquid from the bottle and claimed that two people infected with the corona virus had recovered from the drug. He commented that the effectiveness of this “herbal tea” can be understood in seven days.
The Madagascar Institute for Applied Research developed the medicinal drink. The East African island nation said it had decided to sell the drug for 40 cents a bottle.
In addition to Tanzania, Madagascar has provided free medicines to Guinea, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia and Guinea-Bissau.
Guinea-Bissau has received 18,000 doses of the drug, which it is distributing to 14 more African countries. Liberia’s deputy information minister Eugene Fergan said there were no plans to test the drug’s effectiveness before distribution.
Meanwhile, the WHO warns against consuming drugs that have been shown to be effective in treating malaria.
