Also, pregnant women and patients with some other complex diseases will not be vaccinated. Therefore, about five and a half million people in our total population will not need vaccines at this time.
Dr. Zahid added that the number of people we are vaccinating will be around five and a half million. In the first phase, it will take six months to phase out 30 million Oxford-Estrogen vaccines. Next time we’ll get the covacs vaccine. I won’t give it to you all at once. It will come step by step. It will take more than a year to vaccinate five and a half million people.
The Health Minister said that new types of crown have emerged in different countries around the world. We have taken appropriate measures to control it in Bangladesh. We told the airport to remove those coming from Europe through a separate line. Additionally, those who do not bring a forensic certificate will receive a seven-day quarantine instead of three.
The Health Minister said that in the first phase, health workers, media workers and members of various forces will be vaccinated with utmost importance. In our country nine types of vaccines are administered. A total of 10 types of vaccines will be given in Bangladesh when the corona vaccine arrives.
