Today, for the first time in Bangladesh’s history, the number of people infected with Coronavirus (Covid-19) dropped to 1,000 in 24 hours. Two months and three days after the first day of identification, 1,034 patients were identified within 24 hours on Monday. This number has been found testing 7,208 samples in 36 laboratories in the country in the last 24 hours. Dr. Nasima Sultana said: “In the last 24 hours, we have collected 7,026 samples. Seven thousand and 208 samples have been tested. So far, a total of one lakh 29 thousand and 85 samples have been tested. From 7,208 samples, we were able to identify 1,034. Today I will say that we have exceeded a thousand victims. A total of 15,791 crown patients have been identified. In addition, 11 more people have died in the last 24 hours. As a result, 239 people died of the disease.
Dr. Nasima Sultana added: ‘Analysis of the deaths showed that there were five men and six women. When we analyze their age, we see that one is between 61 and 60 years old, one is between 61 and 60 years old, four is between 51 and 60 years old, two is between 41 and 50 years old, two is between 31 and 40 years old and one is between 21 and 30 years. Among the dead were eight in the Dhaka division, two in the Chittagong division and one in the Rangpur division. ’
On March 8, the first crown patient in the country was identified. After that, on the 36th day of April 14, the number of corona patients was one thousand. Currently, 14,006 crown patients have been identified in the country.
The deadly coronavirus, which originated in China in December last year, has spread to 212 countries and regions of the world, including Bangladesh.
